WEBSITE DESCRIPTION AND INTRODUCTION

This website has been set up to provide a narrative and photographic record of a trip around Australia in my home built clubman sports car. I think this will be a first for this type of car. I know some have covered a fair distance and maybe even gone more than half way around Australia but I don’t think anyone has done the whole circumnavigation and certainly not the mainland plus Tasmania as well. Once I finish I will claim it as a first anyway, at least until someone else proves to the contrary.

I will attempt to write up a journal each day with photographs of interest and then load those onto this site each week if possible. There may be an occasion when I can’t do this but that’s the plan so far. I’ll be leaving Adelaide on the 8^th August heading for Perth then up through Darwin, across to Cairns, down the east coast to Melbourne, across to Tassie and then back to Melbourne and on to Adelaide by the 6^th December. I hope you enjoy the trip as much as I intend to.
